It’s Not a WAR War

I’m being generous here; when Kerry refused to say we’re at “war” with ISIS, he was communicating our Administration’s message of refusing to acknowledge them as a real adversary. When lockjaw Kerry made this statement, he should’ve made this point and used this chance to degrade and insult them. Typically, he didn’t. Everyone in this Administration is an idiot. EVERY ONE

I hope I’m right and they’ll fight this not-war in a very warlike fashion.

So, What’cha Wearing, “Jake From State Farm”?

He thought he was talking to one of Elijah Cummings’ aides?  Not a smidgeon, people!

A senior communications aide to Attorney General Eric Holder seemingly called House oversight committee chairman Darrell Issa’s staff by accident and asked for their help spinning new revelations about the IRS scandal, Issa said in a September 8 letter to Holder.

The aide, Brian Fallon, is a former senior aide to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and a well-known personality on Capitol Hill. The letter describes Fallon as “audibly shaken” when he realizes his request to leak documents to help get ahead of news stories about them was mistakenly made to the very office he was seeking to undermine. Issa believes the call was intended to be made to Democratic Rep. Elijah Cumming’s staff, the ranking member on the oversight panel, the letter said.

According to the letter, Fallon – who is not named in the letter but confirmed he made the call – asked if the aides could release the IRS scandal documents to “selected reporters” to give Fallon an “opportunity to comment publicly on it.”

It’s Good To Be The King!

Hey, when you’re not paying for it, why not?

A new report from NBC claims that President Obama couldn’t get a tee time during a recent visit to New York. So he packed up and went home (before returning to New York the next night for a private wedding).

Breitbart Targeted For Audit

The company that runs the conservative Breitbart.com news site says the IRS has selected the network for an audit, in a move company executives suggest is politically motivated.

Breitbart News Network, a California-based company which runs several conservative websites, says the IRS recently audited its 2012 financial information.

“The Obama administration’s timing on this is exquisite, but try as they might through various methods to silence us, we will only get more emboldened,” Stephen K. Bannon, executive chairman of Breitbart News Network, said in a written statement.

The audit comes as the agency faces sustained complaints that it targeted conservative groups for extra scrutiny as they sought nonprofit status, before the agency ended the practice last year.

Since the practice was made public – by the IRS itself and the inspector general’s office – other conservative groups have come forward claiming they were subjected to unwarranted scrutiny by the agency.

Nuclear Nightmare: As Terror Fears Spike, Power Plant Near Nation’s Capital Sits Practically Unguarded

“That’s a problem”

In an interview Monday, Lyman said that he has heard a number of complaints recently that nuclear power plants around the country lack adequate security.

“What I think has happened lately,” Lyman said. “Is the industry has really let those owner-controlled areas protections just completely erode. And so they’re leaving the checkpoints unmanned all the time and not doing surveillance of the areas so people can enter the owner controlled area without any problem or detection.  And I think that’s a problem.

Obama Charging Us 5 Billion To Protect Our Country

There’s no money in the defense budget?  Did we miss a payment?

What in the actual hell is this?

Obama pushes $5 billion counterterrorism fund to fight ISIS

President Obama is pushing congressional leaders to authorize a $5 billion counterterrorism fund that could be used to support operations against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Approving the fund could allow the White House and congressional leaders to escape a tougher vote on authorizing or funding military action before the midterm elections but still achieve the “buy in” the president has said he wants from Congress.

At the same time, the request risks opening the White House up to attacks that it is asking for a blank check from Congress to carry out military action. It’s also unclear whether the counterterrorism proposal would be enough for the administration to decimate ISIS.

Obama Has Dinner With Sandy (Pants) Berger At The White House

President Obama hosted “a private dinner with a group of foreign policy experts,” the White House announced last night. Among them: Sandy Berger, who was caught stealing and destroying classified documents that related to President Clinton’s record on terrorism issues.

“Former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger was sentenced Thursday to community service and probation and fined $50,000 for illegally removing highly classified documents from the National Archives and intentionally destroying some of them,” CNN reported in 2005.
